Getting Started with invertByte OMS in 10 Minutes
Welcome to invertByte OMS! This guide walks you through everything you need to get up and running — from creating your account to processing your first order.
Step 1: Create Your Account
Head over to the invertByte OMS sign-up page and enter your business details. You'll receive a verification email — click the link to confirm your account.
Tip: Use your business email address. It makes it easier to invite team members later.
Step 2: Configure Your Store
Once logged in, navigate to Settings → Store Configuration:
- Enter your store name and logo
- Set your currency and timezone
- Configure your default shipping address
Step 3: Add Your Products
Click Inventory → Add Product and fill in:
- Product name and SKU
- Selling price and cost price
- Initial stock quantity
- Product images (optional)
# You can also bulk import products using CSV
# Go to Inventory → Import → Upload CSV
Step 4: Connect Your Sales Channels
invertByte OMS supports Shopify, Amazon, WooCommerce, eBay, and more.
Navigate to Settings → Integrations and click Connect next to your preferred channel. Follow the OAuth flow and grant the required permissions.
Step 5: Process Your First Order
Once connected, orders will automatically flow into your dashboard. To manually create an order:
- Go to Orders → New Order
- Search or add a customer
- Add products and quantities
- Set payment and shipping details
- Click Confirm Order
Your first order is live! The system will automatically:
- Deduct inventory
- Send a confirmation email to the customer
- Queue the order for fulfillment
